With the beginning of the open armed aggression of the Russian Federation, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was evacuated to Poltava region. Currently, the university is located in three locations: Poltava, Lubny and Myrhorod. Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 337 of April 14, 2022 and No. 1591 of December 29, 2023 approved the location of the university. CIT is a structural unit of the university, which was established with the financial support of the European Union to promote the implementation of state policy in the field of digitalization in the territory of the Myrhorod community and Poltava region and to comprehensively support the educational process.
The CIT received equipment and in 2023 set up a specialized server laboratory, a minicomputer and Internet of Things laboratory, classrooms for digital learning, and primarily focused its efforts on implementing a powerful information system that supports modern virtualization systems.
