The Center of IT Solutions of LNU named after Taras Shevchenko was created thanks to the EU Support to the East of Ukraine – recovery, peacebuilding, and governance with the financial support of the European Union. State Institution "LNU named after Taras Shevchenko" contributed to the creation and allocated funds for renovation and additional equipment.
During May - October 2023, the Myrhorod CIS received various equipment and furniture from the EU worth over 1 million 700 thousand UAH. Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies (ESIMIT) started their classes in the CIS laboratories, helped in configuration and conducted testing of the installed equipment. At this time, the equipment is already installed on the premises of LNU named after Taras Shevchenko, and work is underway on configuring and creating a specialized integrated Intranet, which will allow using all equipment in the educational process based on virtualized intrasystems. All laboratories have started their activities and underwent preliminary configuration and testing.
Thanks to the support of the EU, CIS created a specialized server room, a laboratory of minicomputers and internet of things, and classrooms for digital learning in 2024-2025, and plans to develop its activities in the areas of expanding engineering design complexes, 3D modeling and robotics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and Big Data, and a complex of natural sciences.
At this time, the Myrhorod CIS is equipped with modern technical equipment.
