Myrhorod Center of IT Solutions (CIS) of the State Institution "Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko" began its activities at the end of 2023.
Currently, the CIS is carrying out work on setting up and further developing the virtual information system and computer equipment. The main goal of the system is to create a powerful integrated environment capable of providing services in face-to-face and remote modes using all computing resources for all subdivisions of LNU named after Taras Shevchenko, other educational institutions, government agencies, and entrepreneurs.
The CIS is already open to cooperation with various institutions regarding the creation and implementation of information resources and various software products in a virtual environment.
Thanks to the creation of an integrated system, the CIS is able to provide all users and students with virtual resources and physical computers on a 24/7 basis. It is possible to order separate virtual environments (Windows and Linux), which are accessible from any personal device (PC, smartphone, tablet) via the Internet.
The CIS and ESIMIT are gradually creating conditions to ensure uninterrupted, round-the-clock use of all computer equipment and the development of a high-quality information hub capable of providing various services in the IT industry.
At the first stage of deployment, the CIS received equipment and created:
- a specialized server room to support the hardware and software complex of virtual systems and cloud computing.
- a specialized laboratory for the development of the hardware and software complex of minicomputers and the Internet of Things.
- classrooms for the hardware and software complex of digital learning.
