The Myrhorod IT Solutions Center (CIT) of the State Institution "Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University" began its activities at the end of 2023.
Currently, the CIT and the ERIMIT are working on the establishment and further development of a virtual information system and computer equipment. The main goal of the system is to create a powerful integrated environment capable of providing services in full-time and remote modes of using all computing resources for all departments of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, other educational institutions, government agencies and entrepreneurs.
CIT is ready to cooperate with various institutions to create and implement information resources and various software in a virtual environment.
Thanks to the creation of an integrated system, the CIT and ERIMIT are able to provide all users and students with virtual resources and physical computers in a round-the-clock mode of use. It is possible to order separate virtual environments (Windows and Linux) that are accessible from any personal device (PC, smartphone, tablet) via the Internet.
CIT and ERIMIT are gradually creating conditions to ensure uninterrupted, round-the-clock use of all computing equipment and the development of a high-quality information center capable of providing various services in the IT industry.
At the first stage of deployment, the CIT received equipment and created:
- a specialized server room to support the software and hardware complex of virtual systems and cloud computing.
- a specialized laboratory for the development of software and hardware for minicomputers and the Internet of Things.
- classrooms for the software and hardware complex of digital learning.
In addition, CIT and ERIMIT plan to provide training in the following areas:
